AMP Posted March 28, 2012 Report Share Posted March 28, 2012 ok just got a 96 Grand Prix SE 3100 sfi auto trans, any way upon start up it sounds as if it is knocking the rev a little it quiets down sound about near rear of the engine close to trans and the trans does not shift well move the car at all, it has 149,xxx miles. my brother thinks that the torque converter is just loose or fly wheel is loose.
