OK...I THINK I know what my problem is...

As I understand, and have been told, the MAP(Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is supposed to react to changes in engine vacuum/pressure. ie. at idle, the voltage should be low, at WOT(wide open throttle) it should be about the same as the atmospheric baramotreic pressure, which, where I live, is usually around 4.7.

So, I realized that last night when my car stuttered, stalled, and wouldn't start, my MAP sensor was messed-up! Right before the car died, after idling in park for about 5-10 seconds, the MAP sensor was reading 4.3 volts!! It should have been more like 1.0 volts!! So this was telling the ECM that I was accelerating HARD on the gas, and that's probably why my INTEGRATOR values were way too high, at 180, because the ECM was commandnig A LOT of fuel to be added...

I know it's not my TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) because it was at the normal 0.5 volts, and 0% angle.

What do you think???

Could this be right???

THANKS!:o)

PS This is all going to be solved Monday morning, but I'd like to know ASAP!
