Hi. Dropping my 1991 GP SE off tomorrow to begin the long overdue restoration! Had her for 17 years. New paint job, some body work, complete interior overhaul and tinting. Been looking for little parts here and there. Will snap and post before and after pics. If anyone has the left and right side radiator grilles - honeycomb pattern w/Pontiac on the driver's side, been looking for those for a while!

So, much work has been done so far. Door handles and locks and windows fixed. Windshield wiper transmission fixed. Had a power steering line blowout while at the upholstery shop. Got that fixed. New tint in place. Interior should be completely done today. Just got some touch paint touch up to do then off to the next stage - tires and rims and hunting down harder to find parts. More pics soon!post-8761-14368913646_thumb.jpg

Well, finally got her back after having to take her to a real mechanic to fix all the things the other places said they fixed but didn't or that they simply broke but wouldn't take responsibility for. The paint and body shop got paint all over places that they shouldn't have because they couldn't be bothered to tape off properly. They painted my turn signal and my fog light and paint in various other places. They lost or broke some the emblems that they remove and tried to find a replacement for one but get the wrong one and it doesn't match. They broke my last working power mirror but blame the upholstery guys, so I had to buy 2 aftermarket ones and have them painted to match. The cracks they "fixed" on my lower bumper deflector are recracking. The new antenna I got they completely wired wrong - they wired it to my tail light. The upholstery guys - not much better. There are spots of carpet on the door panel where they didn't go all the way down or cut too short. The tinting place, that also fixes windows and door locks, I paid to fix driver's window and both L and R door locks. Neither worked. They had me replace both actual locks, which means new keys, but it was really the actuators on both sides. And I don't know what he even did to the window but it was the motor that needed to be replaced. And either these guys or the upholstery guys put 2 cracks in the plastic door panel. And they did a crappy tinting job. Needless to say, I don't want these people touching my car again so I took her to a real mechanic and just shelled out over $700 more to have these things fixed that they broke or never fixed in the first place. Well, here are some updated pics anyways....post-8761-143689137683_thumb.jpg

Is that a pearlescent white? I always wanted to paint my vert like that. Anyways, that looks simply stunning!!! Info on the steering wheel? (And please don't ruin that beautiful car by smoking in it... )
