Why didn't you just get some junkyard fenders? Junkyards here in Ohio have NOTHING but rusted bodypanels..... I put the driverside on, after I sanded down the inside surface, coated it with zink then fiberglass. I lined it up close to perfect. I am going to take it to a body shop after I give the same treatment to the pass fender. Also a hint if you do use aftermarket fenders.....
