    Hard to find parts

2 (not so simple) questions: 1. Is there anyplace to buy preformed replacement carpet for a '93 Cutlass convertible, in graphite? 2. Is any company making replacement weather strip for these convertibles yet?

    Mystery Wire

That's pretty crazy awesome cool right there! If that's a factory set up, that HAS TO BE A UNICORN!!! Base digital cluster with column shift but HUD, WOW!!!

    Mystery Wire

Thank you! That would make sense then. I was like, hmm, never seen a 90 Cutlass sedan with HUD, that's interesting!

    Mystery Wire

Neither the Cutlass, nor the GP sedans could have HUD in 1990.

Because none were made according to the records.

    Mystery Wire

I would strongly say no on the possibility of the fog light/audio bass control and HUD connector options. I have all these items and if you look at the female connector on the back of them, they take a large number of pin/block shaped male connectors. The HUD male connector/wiring will also be high up in the middle of the dash more in center with the digital dash because of the HUD location as well. K&R, if you look at the block shaped blue pin connector wrapped in white tape in your pic at the bottom, that would be the connector I bet for the fog light/audio base control switch. It has 8 pins and a single blade locater that matches up. I will look on the parts car tomorrow and see if I can help you figure out what that more slender connector is for.

Thinking that might be the connecting wire for the heads up display

I still have them Chris, thank God. Tinypic merged with Photobucket and deleted all my pics. I hate photobucket so I might try ImgBB or uoload them to the forum. I have a ton more to post too.

    DIC 1995 Grand Prix

The ban stick used to come out a lot more than it does now-a-days I would guess. I guess that is why we stopped. Post it anywhere you want. I'd just do whatever you think is best.

    DIC 1995 Grand Prix

As soon I as I read memphisman, I was like he would give that car a great home. You beat to that point. Nice. Too bad he didn't get a response back.

    DIC 1995 Grand Prix

It really has a gorgeous interior and is in the NC area so should be really solid underneath. MemphisMan was thinking about getting it, contacted the seller but never really got a good response back from the him. Really too bad. MemphisMan would have given it an exceptionally good home.

Believe me, I know your right but I keep getting backlash about it so I just gave up. I'll let those guys figure it out on their own, not worth getting into an argument with them. Thanks man and nice you saved at least one of them!

    New & Old

Just plain white vinegar. Then just sprinkle in salt till you see bubbles. You might not want to do it in a container you care about. The rust could turn it yellow.

FE-3 vs FE- 1 Rear Sway Bar

DO NOT HEAT the bar. You will ruin the temper. Bend it cold, or leave it alone.

The lateral arms would prevent that from happening, would they not? They aren't stretching.
