SmoothSteve3 Posted February 24, 2004 Report Share Posted February 24, 2004 I know this has been discussed time and time again......and yes, I have tried the search function.......but now its time to decide on my part. With the upper-engine rebuild i'm doing this summer, I've got a set of remanufactured heads. Now my question is, should I use my stock 1.5 rocker arms in my car right now? Or should I go with the 1.6 rocker arms that were used in the early 2.8 chevy s-10's? I remember that someone tried this......and I can't remember if it worked or not. Sure, the gain wouldn't be all that significant, but hell, might as well do all I can while I have the heads off!
