Garrett Powered
if you use feeler gauge then .040 will work. those coin things are not always accurate I have noticed. .040 is what Jeff M told me to gap them with my stock motor using his chip. that is if memory serves me correctly. woodsbuggy
Thanks for all of the help, the car is getting better. As soon as I can find time I will get the plugs changed. I am unable to get TunerPro 5 to reconize that I am connected to the vehicle, I am sure that it is something simple that I am missing. I have windows 7 on my laptop with a USB plug on my cable but all that I see is an empty screen. Kenric
RobertISaar
you have the correct ADX loaded?
woodsbuggy
Please forgive my ingorance, but what is ADX?
RobertISaar
the ADX is what is used to connect to and decode the values in the datastream. sounds like that's your problem.
woodsbuggy
How do I fix this?
RobertISaar
http://tinyurl.com/65vovnp that's the one i use for TGP builds. download, open TP, go to acquisition-> select definition, chose the ADX, open the guages, press Ctrl + F4(or press the button or do it through the menu) to connect, then you should be streaming data. record if you want.
