Changing rear brakes..

Do you have to use the same tool u used to get ur brake pads on / off on a 95 GP? cause ill be changing mine this weekend also and may need to know these things beforehand

I'm not sure when the style changed, but on my 95 grand prix the rear calipers are held on with regular bolts; not the torx type. I would say its about 10mm. They're small, long bolts that go through the sliders. Hope this helps!

That's the same stud that caused the brake fluid to leak out..

 

Yep, if it's turned in too far, that will cause brake fluid to leak out.

Been there, done that. I hate the 88-93 rear calipers.

 

Shinisa, yes, you do need a tool to turn in the 94+ rear calipers, but they are much easier to rotate in.
