rear caliper issue

well, i havent looked at the problem myself yet, but just gonna see what other peoples' impressions are.

my buddy has a '95 GP couple and the rear caliper 'seized' up or so he said. so they changed the caliper out and when they hit the brakes, that same caliper locks up, but slowly frees up after a few hours or so.

what are some ideas you have?

Nice to see you back around Heza! Tell him to check on the caliper bolts if it "frees up" in the way I think you mean. Does the car still do the same thing if you disable ABS?

Change the brake hose. They collapse on the inside where you can't see it. A cracked piece of rubber then acts like a one-way valve not allowing the caliper to fully retract.
