Several years back when I was heavily using the forum (2010-2015), I read and thought I commented on a post. It was about someone in the upper Midwest that found a transmission shop. This shop rebuilt their 284. Even then parts were made out of less unatianium than today, the shop that rebuilt it would make what ever part they couldn't buy. I know it probably cost as much as a complete car to rebuild, but I was wondering if anyone else remembers this or the post or who the member was or maybe no one will and I was too out of it and made it all up. lol I tried to search for it but none of my keywords resulted in what I was looking for .
Thanks in advance.
