  1. The newer hardened 4th clutch hub swaps, the 7/8 chain and sprocket set can be swapped but was told by justin when he did my tgp trans that the chain in the tgp's was a touch wider than the normal single chain setup and i guess he managed to hunt me down a nos chain after calling around places that lead to the west coast i think. Some of the clutches swap over as well 3rd for sure, peace of mind having a well known trans builder for the 4t65 15 minutes away Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

Fuel leak at fuel line/fuel rail connection on 3800

Had this issue on my 00 GT and my brothers 01 GT. I followed the procedure below and haven't burnt one down yet, and I replaced mine probably 2-3 years ago now. Just take your time getting the plastic retainers out that separate the O-rings. It can be frustrating and you don't want to bend the nylon line around too hard. I just kinda layed on top of the motor so I could see under it to minimize the height I had to pull the lines up to. http://www.grandprixforums.com/general-tech-discussion/30008-could-this-be-causing-all-of-the-engine-fires.html?highlight=fires

Fuel leak at fuel line/fuel rail connection on 3800

The GM solution was to remove the dress cover so the fuel would evaporate more quickly. I like changing the o-rings and fixing the fucking leak a lot more.

Replacing the O-rings should be fine, unless someone REALLY mangled the fuel lines and quick connects somehow.

Anyone installed a set of components in their car?

Well, I'm back from the tropics, and I am sorry to announce that I was not able to install my sound system. I got very busy with the kitchen cabinet build, i didn't have any time to work on the sound. I will try again in this coming December.
