    Old TGP owner, new member

Old member of TGP forums and have owned my black TGP since 1994 when it had 10,000 miles on it. In 2001 I had a rear spark plug fly out of it a month after a dealer changed plugs. I parked it not knowing the car would sit there the next 17 years untouched. I'm just pulling it out of storage today. Besides the spark plug issue that I know about, pulling it out of storage, I'll have to drop the fuel tank as I have no fuel at all in the lines, hear no fuel pump, no relay even with a new one in it today. Everything else is pretty satisfactory. I'll post pics soon. I'll also be asking for help on the stripped spark plug issue, and maybe fuel pump advice seems like a tank drop for sure though I have also had over the years I drove it smoke in the steering wheel when I turned at times. I have ever car faxed the car but believe I'm the 2nd owner I was told it was a dealer demo car in Madison, WI to 4,000 miles and first owner had to about 10,000.

    I own a 90 TGP....again

I used an Astro van set up as the accumulator is shorter and more compact. We use them on alot of pro-touring builds and they work great.

    Wheel spacers

Oh yeah, Imp...1st Gen wheels bolt up to 2nd gens and have less positive offset creating a wider stance...its bitchin! An exception to the rule would be 1.5gen 16x6.5 alloys actually have less offset than 1st gen 16x6.5s and stick out a delightful smidge when bolted to a 1st gen. I had 1.5g Lumina LS alloys on my 90 base coupe and always liked the stance. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  4. I've started to notice this crap even in northern Ohio. WHEN I trust someone with my Lumina, after testing them with my pickup trucks, mechanics will him-haw and drag their feet like it's a one-off vehicle, no one short of middle-aged will consider wrenching on it, and I'll ask them to fix, say...4 problems...and it most often is handed back to me with half of them fixed. Perhaps any douche with a 93 Chevy must be too poor to fit the bill in their eyes, but it creates a huge hassle to schedule another drop-off 3 weeks down the road to pay them to finish it. Perhaps I should wear a 3-piece suit or make it rain in the repair bay so they can just give me my car back SAFE for my daughter to ride in it. Just cause it's an old car doesn't mean I want it less than a-spec when lives are at stake. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

What Type of Magazines Did The First Generation W-Body Did Road Tests On?

I'm pretty sure that the type of magazine to do articles on the W-body would mostly be car-enthusiast magazines. There might be some local magazines from the cities or counties that had a GM assembly plant. Maybe business magazines discussing GMs investment and expected rate-of-return, or amortizing the tooling or somesuch. But the main type of magazine will be the ones focusing on selling copies to gearheads.
