GnatGoSplat Posted September 8, 2002 Report Share Posted September 8, 2002 Yes, Supremes got stuck with the 3100. The Intrigue was supposed to replace the Cutlass Supreme for 97. Its only powerplant was supposed to be the 3.4 DOHC, but due to the 3.4 DOHC's reliability (or lack thereof), the Intrigue power plant was switched to the 3800 Series II at the last minute causing it a 1-yr delay.
