2002 Impala instrument lights and stereo stay on when car is off

I just started having this problem today where when I turn the car off and open the door, the instrument panel lights and stereo stay on. I don't know what the problem is, I checked the headlight knob and it's pushed all the way in. The ignition is definitely turned all the way to off.

 

For now, I've just dimmed the panel lights and pressed the power button on my stereo but I don't want to have to do this every time I get out of the car. Anyone know what the problem might be? I've been told it might be the BCM, but I'd like some more input before I go taking it into the shop and paying stupid money just to find out it's something small.

Did they all used to go off when you opened the door? Do you have a door ajar light? Is it coming on still when you open the drivers door?

Well, sometimes the light will come on and other times it doesn't. But I always have to manually turn the stereo off and manually turn the dash lights off by pulling out the headlight knob and then pushing it back in.

 

EDIT: Sorry, it's a 2001 not a 2002. L36.

Probally a drivers door switch
