1996 GPSE parking brake cable adjustment question

Finally got my parking brake hooked back up after my brake escapade. Problem is, my passenger side cable is on the long side somehow and the driver's side is short and is partially actuated with the brake off. There's only the adjuster on the passenger cable though. Do I just tighten it up for the passenger brake and pray it loosens the driver's side? Its not a massive difference, we're talking a quarter inch too taut on the drivers side and like an inch too loose on the pass side.

Mine was seriously messed up somehow. I didn't know what was wrong with it. Both sides were adjusted right but it wouldn't let go. I think what it is is aftermarket calipers have weaker parking brake springs. I ended up cutting the spring off the passengers side cable and it loosened everything up enough to compensate for the weak caliper springs. The pedal assembly auto-adjusted itself for this setup.
