94 3100 Grand Prix. Any tips, tricks, or wranings on doing this? Im doin mine today and this is what I have heard of the process. Find the shrader valve on the fuel rail (if this car has one) push in the valve with a screw driver to release line pressure. use some needle nose vice-grips clamping the rubber fuel lines closed to reduce fuel spill. Pop the clips and pull the beast out and replace. After putting in the new one turn the ignition to the "on" position for a minute before cranking it over. -- Sound right? Thanks for the help.

when i do mine, i just put a bucket underneath to catch the gas and uncrew the filter slowly and let it drip till the pressure is gone, unclip it, and then put the new one in place. Simple as that.

your car probably wont start the first time you crank it over so leaving the key in the on-possition to start the fuelpump helps.

Have fun
