Hey guys,

My buddy and i are both replacing our LIM gaskets tonight on our 3800 sc's. I was wondering if i could get the torque specs for the bolts i will be removing and my buddy has been telling me that you do not have to remove the valve covers....is this true?Any help will be greatly appreciated since this is my first 3800 S/C i have owned. My car is a 97 GTP if needed to know and my buddys car is a 98 bonneville ssei. Any other suggestions, helpful tips, or recommendations would be great to.

Thanks :burnout:

The LIM bolts need to be torqued to 11 ft lbs in specified order. (See pic.)

I know it's missing #6.

You shouldn't have to remove the valve covers.
