blackbeauty89 Posted April 6, 2009 Report Share Posted April 6, 2009 so i want to put aftermarket 6x9's in my car. took the rear seat out and all. took the 2 clips out that hold the rear deck on and tried pulling and pulling and it just won't come out. so can anyone give me any tips on how to remove it?? it almost seems like it's lodged underneath the rear window. please please! jrcuttymann Posted April 6, 2009 Report Share Posted April 6, 2009 I'm not sure about the 05 MC but on my 01 Intrigue there was a big metal clip under the third brake light, had to accesss from the trunk, had to pull clip out while someone else pulled on rear deck shelf ( what a huge pain in the ass that was ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And just when you think you have them all you find another, also you have to remove the speaker grilles before you can pull the deck peice out.
