DOHCRagtopguy Posted October 19, 2002 Report Share Posted October 19, 2002 ...my Ragtop died. On the way home last night, about a mile from my house. And it's the big one-timing belt. She cranks but the belt doesn't turn at all. It's all frayed at the edge and rubber everywhere. I figure the idler pulley must have seized not allowing it to move. Had it towed home, off to the garage she goes this week. Got a beginning estimate of 5 bills. Hope nothing else is seized up in there. She's barely broken in, only 78K miles.
