RedZMonte Posted October 7, 2002 Report Share Posted October 7, 2002 Anyone here swap out their hubs before? Well here is the deal. I got the new hubs and the studs are different. I had put longer studs in my car originally, and the new studs are the same diameter on the thread area but the base of the stud that gets pounded in is different. it is quite a bit thicker. so i too them back and got some from Carquest and same deal. GM hubs are going to be $400-$500 so thats out of the question. Adv auto doesn't have any longer studs for the new designed hubs. anyone know if or where i can get studs for the new hub? adv autoparts lists the longer stud but they are the old style studs i allready have...
