I was doing tuning on my dad's pick--up and I got the itch to do some work on both my J-body Cavalier hybrid motor(3100 heads/intake on 3.1L block) project in my Fiero and my girlfriend's 88GPSE with SD cnversion (memcal from 89 Olds with 2.8 SD) Which ALDL data stream definitions do I need? both are 730/727 P4 ECM's. DaveFromColorado Posted April 3, 2006 Report Share Posted April 3, 2006 not sure which def's to use ... but I do gotta ask ... why go to the SD setup, I'd imagine you'd have a lot more room for accurate tuning with the MAF setup, then with the SD - plus, if you wanted to force some air down into it, it'd be much easier to tune with the MAF then with a 2 or 3 bar MAP sensor. --Dave.
