mfewtrail Posted March 24, 2003 Report Share Posted March 24, 2003 Just wondering if all STOCK T25 Garrett turbos are created equal? my 1990 Volvo 740 turbo/intercooled sedan has the T25 snail on it and I was wondering if this is the exact same as the TGP turbo besides the mounting flange? Chris A Posted March 24, 2003 Report Share Posted March 24, 2003 THe short answer is no, they are not equal. The t25 on the 2.0 sunbird is pretty close but it uses .48 housings. I have no idea what your volvo uses, you might be able to find markings on the housings. Also, the wheels can be different sizes. Furthermore, the t25 on the eclipse,laser,talon (DSMs) is very different. The housings are cast differently and now way will bolt up.
