Fat Ryan Posted May 1, 2005 Author Report Share Posted May 1, 2005 well, yeah, i dont exactly have the tools for an engine swap. i know someone who will put in a new engine for me for like ~$400. so i just want to know what i could swap in. i didnt want it to be hard cause then it'll cost me more in labor. and theres a better chance that the guy will screw something up too. 5speedz34 Posted May 1, 2005 Report Share Posted May 1, 2005 Difficulty is about the same, for a completely different machine I would go with a 3.4 TDC, but the maitenance is something to stay on top of. He had an early 90's lumina with a 3400 in it. It's pretty much a direct bolt in and go. A few minor things have to be done, but its nothing huge.
