Reliabilty sucked for the previous owner (grandpa), but that was mainly due to improper aftermarket electrical mods and abusive driving style of its original owner. Only thing replaced is one alternator and one turn signal switch. And brakes, of course. First car I've had for more than a year. Two previous cars bit the dust at an early age. Original Trannies and motors, 0 rebuilds. Alternator replaced twice on Euro, never on the Olds. Timing belt replaced on the Olds at about 75K miles. That's all, folks!!!!! sonyman87 Posted September 2, 2004 Report Share Posted September 2, 2004 173xxx miles got it with 104xxx miles november 2001 LQ1 and 4t60e Origonal motor origonal trany purchaced car with an intake leak. fixed under warrenty later.. leaky oil lines new timing belt new altinator leaky transmission lines some breakwork: rotors and pads intake gaskets again! now hopefully i wont have to replace anything until 200,000 miles! It's a '92 Regal Gran Sport Coupe w/ the 3800 TPI and 4T60 Trans. It was a 1 owner car and as far as I know engine & trans are all original.
