93 Grand Prix Posted December 14, 2002 Report Share Posted December 14, 2002 I was wondering if fuel injectors from a 2.8 v6 fit into the 3.1 with no problems? eclipse5302 Posted December 14, 2002 Report Share Posted December 14, 2002 Physically they will fit...as for flow rate I don't know for sure. To test, you can ohm them out...which consists of using an ohm meter to measure the resistance of the two terminals on the injector. It should be around 12 ohms or so, and all six of the injectors should be real close to each other in the measurement of ohms. That verifies the electrical part of the injector...but do they leak or flow incorrectly? Who knows... Best thing if they pass the electrical test pay $50 and get them cleaned / checked for flow rate. You'll still be pay less doing all of this than buying new ones.
