Guest TurboSedan
i found that one of the vacuum lines that goes to the vacuum ball under the battery was disconnected and hanging down. i would have reconnected it but the rubber 'L' shaped end had rubbed against the tire and/or ground so i need another rubber 'L' end for the line before i reconnect it. for now i cut part of the line off and stuck a small vacuum cap on the end. should the cruise work this way? i can't find any other problem besides this. the vents are working ok, the module is plugged in as well as the clutch cruise cut out and brake cutout switch. all of the vacuum lines are connected to the underhood servo and the cable is going to the TB and connected properly. Gearhead43
Ummm .....I think there is a one way Check valve in that line (under the CC servo unit).. If the ball in the ck Valve gets stuck, then the CC will not operate anymore. Check it out.
