Zboy
If I remeber correctly ( which I do, sometimes) Type F has more friction modifiers, so running it in a GM trans can give harder, crisper shifts at the expense of accelerated clutch wear. For the 4 speed Gm autos I would run Dexron III, leave type F to old Fords. I have not tried or heard of any body running synthetic fluid, but I'm sure it is better at resisting heat than regular fluid.
DaveFromColorado
.. had this debate, it's actually less modifiers --Dave
Zboy
Damn, I hate being wrong, but I'll take your word on it. I guess I can't be right all the time.
