LUMINATOR Posted February 11, 2015 Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 My 90 lumina wipers are hitting each other when the wipers are on. I took the wiper arms off and it seem that when the wipers are in park the passenger side wiper goes down way to fare. Crazy K Posted February 11, 2015 Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 Wipers basically grip onto the splines of the mechanism. remove, reposition, and try again. might take a few tries. this should solve your issue, unless your mechanism is damaged. I did have one mechanism that would not quite work properly no matter what I tried, so I switched it out for a spare and it corrected the issue. your mileage may vary. good luck. Crazy K Posted February 11, 2015 Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 max blade length is 20 inches. some cars list 19 as the stock replacement size but gm upsized to 20 in later years on the same mechanism, so 20 works on all of them.
