l67ss Posted March 21, 2014 Report Share Posted March 21, 2014 Was pulling a couple parts at the jy for a customers intrigue and noticed that the 3.5 junker had an aluminum bracket on the trans for the trans mount. RobertISaar Posted March 22, 2014 Report Share Posted March 22, 2014 the trans side, i don't see any problems, but the mount side may have issues. i don't know if any trans mounts will work with a 1/1.5 subframe and a 2nd gen bracket without modification. i would measure stuff before commiting money to it. RobertISaar Posted March 22, 2014 Report Share Posted March 22, 2014 well, 2nd gen MC and impalas also got an aluminum subframe, which it took the other models until gen3 to have. i would say that if a MC 2nd gen bracket works with the 1/1.5 mount, it would likely work just fine.
