Chris2012
Lights stopped working one day. I'm pretty sure it's due to the high beam toggle (in turn signal). I connected the headlamps to a switch in the passenger compartment. But I want to once again turn my lights on and off with the button. I figure I'll need to bypass the turn signal mechanism (that is high beam toggle) - will need to wire up a separate switch for that. But keep the rest of the wiring obvously. Thing is what and where do I cut. Assuming I have the right wiring diagram in my beat up old Haynes (iffy) I can't read those damned things. I'm used to real schematics. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As an aside, can you remove and reinstall trannys in these cars with a heavy duty floor jack? Assuming you can get it high enough off the ground.
