jesse Posted October 16, 2003 Report Share Posted October 16, 2003 I was going to tell you about that yesterday but this reply page would not load. looks as though you got it apart and back together. Hope it it alright, what you are refering to is called the airbag coil. center it by depressing the spring lock, rotate the hub in the direction of the arrow until it stops, then turn back 2 1/2 turns and release the spring lock. The airbag coil should be centered with the marks aligned and the tab fitted between the projections on the top of the steering column.
