godofthunder Posted October 10, 2003 Report Share Posted October 10, 2003 Ok...car is still leaking something. I got under car today, with it on (it was on the ground...i just put my head under). There are like 2 metal hoses that run arround the tranny pan. One of them has red/orrange stuff dripping off it. I couldnt tell. So, I back the car up...and smell it. IT doesnt smell like coolant, which is odd (caus yet again, im still a little low). So, either these things are leaking, or something above it is. Argh. What are those hoses for? GnatGoSplat Posted October 10, 2003 Report Share Posted October 10, 2003 My guess is they're either power steering lines or tranny cooler lines. Do they go to the radiator? If so, they're tranny cooler lines. I had both leak on the 94. I cut the tranny cooler lines and just replaced them with generic pressure hose and fuel injection hose clamps.
