Brakes = Fail. Advice?

What years does this apply to? The 95 Regal still has excellent braking, 217k miles later.

 

My 89 has 220k, though I wouldn't say it has excellent braking by far. It's no worse than my truck or the 94.

The 88 had over 200k when it was parked and the brakes were... typical GM.

 

Can the 94-96 brake booster be used on 93 and older brake systems?

 

Yes, but only on an automatic car. 94+ booster is too big for a 5-speed car, some part is in the way, I want to say clutch master cylinder, but I don't remember if that's it.
