88red4cyl Posted April 9, 2010 Report Share Posted April 9, 2010 Got the oil changed on my Monte this morning, and as usual, reset the oil life monitor... Since then, the outside temp will only read 39° (the temp it was when it got reset)... It was close to 60 outside, and the DIC still read 39... Where is the sensor that the car uses for the outside temp? I restarted the car several times throughout the day, and it read 39 each time... 88red4cyl Posted April 10, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 Ended up not having to unhook the battery... Just reset the oil life monitor a few times, and it started working again...
