skalor Posted September 9, 2003 Report Share Posted September 9, 2003 A lot of the intercooler's efficiency lies in what kind of intercooler it is(ie. bar/plate or tube/fin). I think generally tube/fin intercoolers flow more cfm, but they don't cool the air as well as bar/plate style. And bar/plate don't flow very well, but they cool better. We have bar/plate so they are probably pretty good at cooling the intake charge. Not that I don't want a frontmount setup as I plan on putting one on my other TGP(not the one in my sig).
