White93z34 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Share Posted July 11, 2009 I HATE these wheels more then I really have words for. they are ugly and the finish is screwed up, which makes them uglier yet. now what do I get to replace them my first idea was... Dodge magnum wheels, I think they would look good, and are very close to the proper offset. then there are the Impala/Monte SS wheels, I REALLY like how they look and the comedy option of refinishing my crosslaces and getting new tires on them, defiantly the cheapest option so far. GOT2B GM Posted July 11, 2009 Report Share Posted July 11, 2009 Those split spoke Magnum wheels would be hot, the bonus being you wouldn't need spacers like the SS wheels. Although for obvious reasons I also really like the SS wheels. If you buy a set of Magnum wheels with rubber, the rubber will be WAY too tall for a 1st gen W. SS tires are only 2.5% larger in diameter, which is acceptable. Refinishing x-laces is fairly easy if the p/c ing isn't too damaged (redid the lips on my xlaces on the TGP) I do like the look of the bigger diameter wheels on the Z34 though......
