X-laces on a 94 Cutlass Vert?

I was looking for some 94-96 gp 5-spokes but found these instead. They were charcoal but I painted them duplicolor Siver with clearcoat. I should mention these are my winter tires and wheels. The rears have a 3/16" spacer installed.

There is one that has a nick on the lip and all have rub marks from the old lever style tire mounting machine.

They do look a lot better than I thought they would. I did not like them at all when they were charcoal.

I would gladly trade them for a nice set of 94-96 5 spokes. I have one person in Loveland Co. semi-interested in the trade, but I have my doughts.

I have to bring this thread back to life as I was searching for 06+ Impalas and found this one.

white 2007 Impala with 00-05 Impala 5-spoke wheels (look like 94-96 Impala SS but are 16")

I like it. In fact I would like it very much in Imperial blue or a dark gray or black with a bench front seat. This particular car has 130K and is for sale for $5995 at a Ford dealer in Alliance, OH. At least it's a bench seat car, but white isn't my first choice for a newer Impala. Would be great on a '65, though.

Were the spacers on the rear necessary? I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

Anyone see the season finale of Dexter? He flips a second-gen GP with Impala wheel covers on it (you can clearly see the bowtie in a closeup).

i did. that car was kind funny.... it ran really well for a car with no gas tank or exhaust, or for that matter... engine or transmission.

Yeah 5 spokes started in 95. Your car probably had the X-laces from the factory.

Yeah I would take the 5 spoke any day. Easier to keep clean and just look better.

I don't know how they ended up on my car though I have no history on the thing.
