Night Fury
Hey, we all get a bit of a kink every now and again!
Scottster
So how did all the extra insulation effect the interior noise level?
slick
So how did all the extra insulation effect the interior noise level? No battery, hard to tell. But the sound level, inside the car, seems to be much more dampened.

I'll consider this for more quiet inside the car. That Flowmaster 40 can get on the nerves sometimes, but I doubt this would do much to mask that anyway. slick
May help some, but your best bet to quiet it down would be put some some actual sound deadener in the trunk floor, rear shock towers, and under the rear seat. Yeah, I hear ya. In hindsight I wish I woulda squeezed a 50 series under there instead of these band-aid fixes I'm considering now.

Matts97cutty89
Honestly, I'm a flooring manager, don't tell me about my own product! You think it'll hold up/stay in place/etc? I guess you probably wont have it out too much in the rain/snow, so it wouldn't see moisture as much Hey i work at menards too.. just got my profit sharing check! / end thread derail. Addicted To Boost
So let me tell you about driving a car with summer tires in the snow and slush. Sucks, huh? There is no traction, even with 245s.

slick
Glad it's still in good hands. Thats why I had no worries about it going to Shaun. I'll be truthful, I was a bit sad seeing it go yesterday. It was a very sharp looking car.

slick
Ah.... so that's what the leak was then? Maybe from it sitting? It seemed fine about 3-4 months ago when I last drove it. Other than that, how did it pull when you got on it?
digitaloutsider
It pulls very nicely when it's not bucking and hesitating
