Brian P Posted July 28, 2008 Report Share Posted July 28, 2008 Okay, My sister's car, a '02 GPSE: 2nd-Gen w's have that exterior dual seal along the lower windows. What happens is that rainwater effectively gets trapped between the two "flaps" and starts to mold out. Every time the windows are opened, you get a nice stench of mold/mildew. Now I have sprayed anti-bacterial cleaner in there and wiped out as much as I can, I have done this twice. The nastiest black shit in the world comes out of there. Problem keeps re-appearing after a few months. I have this idea about making a few drain holes at the bottom of the space between the flaps, but this will also drain into the door.
