ManicMechanic
This story is true, only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.
Brian P
LOL, Yeah I haven't heard from her, I don't plan on calling either. I had the cops come down and document the damage, take a statement from myself and my sister, and I was given the option to go as far as to press charges. We'll see what my insurance says when I make a vandalism claim. GPX
I think the gold looks cool, but she does have a very good point that it's the only gold thing on the car. If you had one for each door as well, it could look pretty good. I'm a fan of a total debadge though, so that'd be my first vote My sentiments EXACTLY! Brian P
YOU BITCH! you had to have seen it coming Torarry!!! I'm a fan of a total debadge though, so that'd be my first vote My sentiments EXACTLY! This is a Gold pkg '97 CS on egay. I'm not feeling the whole package, too many badges and stripes. What if I were thinking of adding a classic Cutlass Supreme script badge as a replacement on the trunk?

5speedz34
That cutty looks like ass! Please don't put vintage badges on a newer car.
Brian P
AHHH... why? I just went to my secret stash and I happened to find one!! It's a little small though, it's as long as the "CUTLASS SU" of the OEM one. What about 70s vintage where it's bigger? That might look cool. 5speedz34
NO! When you put older badges on its trying to make it something its not. If you want a G-body buy one!

5speedz34
Put gold badges on the door and be done with it. I think the door badges are to much. I like the subtle-ness of this bade. Please don't put vintage badges on a newer car. Why not!?!?! I have one on mine You know whats funny, that badge looks great on your car. I don't know what it is, but on many cars I think it looks bad. IDK, maybe because its like putting a old style interior in a new car? EviLette
Get them plated! And go with the gold. It is, after all, a Cutlass SUPREME. Might be tough then to find all the gold badging since I'm sure they've been discontinued. **EDIT** Damn. Sucks about your g/f.. I didn't even see that, was skimming for pics LOL. I'm kind of the same as a couple others here. Scream at me, call me names, whatever. But do NOT touch my car. I can't believe that girls really do that though. I couldn't do it, but then again, I care about cars. The thought of applying anything to paint other than a specifically designed piece of material (IE wash mitt, chamois, wax/buff/microfiber etc.) sickens me. I can't even express how bad i feel for you man. If I were you, I'd be pressing charges. She had no right to be going through anything on your PC. it's the same as a guy not going through a gal's purse without permission. So what she found was her own damn fault, regardless of who it belonged to. She shouldn't have been snooping.
