I drove around with the interior completely out of the grand prix. Everything but a seat and the seat belt. Shocktherapy has pictures i want him to post them. I was in the middle of an interior swap. I drove it like that for two weeks and the only thing i noticed was my exhaust was louder and you could here my heat shield rattle.

To expand on Glass's FAQ...

 

Basically the trunk is totally sealed off. When you port the trunk into the cabin it couples that air and allows the subs to act as if in a larger box.

 

Its a box in a box really...

 

When you port the trunk into the cabin the gain goes up sharply. When you roll down your windows there may be a fine line between gain and none. Actually if you play around, you can "tune" your system with a window or two ;)
