V6 w-bodies got the getrag 282/284. period. I can't remember if the quad 4s got the isuzu or not in Ws. we've had 2 90 Q4 5-speeds...they have 282's as do all N-bodies with the HO quad Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pwmin Posted February 28, 2007 Report Share Posted February 28, 2007 i havent heard about w's getting the isuzu. my 95 GA had it but that was the weakest year for the Q4 so it would make sense that the HO Q4's wouldnt get it. not sure why they would quit makin 3.1 5-speeds when they kept makin 3.4 5-speeds.
