DropTopOlds Posted October 4, 2002 Report Share Posted October 4, 2002 Since Cutlass Supremes with HUD are in short supply here (I've only ever seen two) I am having trouble finding the height adjustment cable to go from the dimmer to the HUD unit. Without the cable, The HUD display isn't viewable. The only other HUD-equipped vehicle in this area that is prevalent to this area's junkyards is the 1995 and below SSE. However, the SSE's cable is about 3 or 4 inches too short (either that, or I can't find the best route to the HUD unit through the dash) That said, I need some people to volunteer some info 1. p/n for HUD cable (just my luck it came with the $945 unit) 2. best route for HUD height adjustment cable 3. what connects the HUD cable to the small triangular tab on the bottom of the HUD unit. 4. does anybody have the little cubby that fits beside HUD dimmer? I'll be very ($$) gratetful If anybody happens to have the HUD cable and whatever attaches it to the HUD unit I'd be extra ($$$$) grateful...
