There really isn't room for any bigger- although I have seen pics someone put 6" in but they were hitting the grille I believe. Addicted2bass Posted July 4, 2006 Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 I fit 6.5s in my GP doors. On the inside of the grille there is a plastic ring that the stock speaker rests on. Snap that ring off and it will give the 6.5 enough room. I also fit teh 6.5" speaker in the 5.25" bracket. Worked out pretty good! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
