Ok! I guess I screwed that up! Not what I was trying to say. My hearing without hearing aids was bad, but at least I could carry on a conversation with my wife at the table. Now even though my audio gram has not change much at all in 11 years of wearing hearing aids I now have a very hard time hearing her standing next to me, unless I have the aids in! This is what I mean by the aids make your brain lazy when it comes to hearing without the aids. To my point don’t get hearing aids until you have no other choice.
