But a) You have no reason to be going past 5600rpm for ANY shifts (with the stock powercurve), and you will likely only be able to hit the rev limiter in 2nd gear...........1st will likely upshift automatically (assuming you have the 4T60-E). 89oldscutlass Posted July 2, 2004 Report Share Posted July 2, 2004 I dont think any of the 89 cutlass supremes had the cut off at 115 mph. I have 2 of them and neither one has the kill switch.
