grandprix89 Posted June 19, 2004 Report Share Posted June 19, 2004 hey to all..today i had to remove the TPS and when i installed it back i get a check engine code...such that my tps value is incorrect, either too high or too low(i have a 2.8 L v6 engine in my grand prix with adjustable TPS) could anyone tell me what voltage it should read at idle, ( closed throttle)...right now i have a 0.55V reading,.. to check this i put the ignition on ON, engine not running, and i connected a voltmeter from the dark blue wire(positive)..and get a ground somewhere on the car.. thankx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Crimson Fury Z Posted June 19, 2004 Report Share Posted June 19, 2004 i dunno if thats all the same on the 60* tps', i installed my new one, and got the car running, letting it go for 15 minutes, then taking it out on a drive, and after i got back, things were ok.
