RobertISaar Posted December 20, 2013 Report Share Posted December 20, 2013 there are far more engine choices than the 3800. factory engines that GM installed in 1/1.5 generation W-bodies: 2200 2.3Quad4(HO and LO) 2.5 iron duke 2.8 3.1 3.1 turbo 3.1SFI 3100 3.4DOHC 3800S1 3800S2 i think that is all of them.... this isn't even counting some of the simple swaps to other engines that also fit/work relatively easily. They were a standard series 2 with series 3 heads.
