twalt13
As a realitevly newb for car audio, here is my question. I already have a Pioneer deck, and am getting a pioneer AMP. After I power the AMP and hook the deck to the AMP, do I run all of the speaker wires from the AMP to the speakers? (Meaning do I run all new wires?) It is a 4-chanel AMP
bg35765
Yes. If you have the stock speakers and think you might replace them with aftermarket, now would be the time to do it. That way you can leave all of the factory wiring uncut, which will make it easier to put it back to stock when you sell your car.
Garrett Powered
I wouldn't even put an amp in unless you got some real nice component sets and a plan first. which obviously means all stock speakers come out and new 14 gauge speaker wire to all 4 corners. deck power can run coax aftermarket 4x6 speakers no problem. and you would stick to the factory amp for the doors.
