Galaxie500XL Posted October 14, 2011 Report Share Posted October 14, 2011 I've had a burned out illumination bulb in my Cutlass for a long while, so I took it apart to fix... What I found is, as least to me kinda weird. I'm used to the plastic holders using a type 194 bulb, just pull out the bulb, and replace! The holders in my car are green, and the bulbs appear to have extremely long leads that wrap around the metal contacts. In other words, the bulbs don't seem to be replaceable without destroying the holder. Anyone seen this before, and would a '94 or earlier dash have the more normal bulb holders?
